Review by hotel critic
Staying at Hotel Regina Simius in the heart of Villasimius was a delightful getaway, perfect for those of us with a keen eye for nature and leisure. The spacious rooms, designed with a beautiful Sardinian touch, provided an exceptionally comfortable retreat-a welcome respite after our days of exploring the stunning coastline and its iconic beaches like Campulongu and Porto Giunco. The breakfast was a treat too, featuring a selection of delicious options that catered well to my varied tastes and those of my travel companions. The hotel's attentive staff, particularly Barbara, transformed our stay into a memorable experience with her warmth and willingness to help. Being centrally located allowed us to easily venture into the vibrant local scene, from charming cafes to intriguing historical remnants of the Nuragic period-an enriching peek into the past. the lush surroundings made our morning walks a serene experience, offering glimpses of the pristine landscapes that are part of the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara. For anyone passionate about the outdoors and looking for an immersive escape in southern Sardinia, Hotel Regina Simius stands out as the ideal launchpad for both adventure and relaxation.
